Char Software develops web and mobile software.
Our main interest is in the emerging smartphone platforms. This includes Windows Mobile, Blackberry, iPhone, and Android. We are particularly interested in the increasing prevalence of open, location aware, Internet enabled devices.
3 billion mobile phones are in use around the world, and 1 billion cell phones will be sold in 2008. Roughly 100 million of those will be smartphones. Sales are growing, and more people today have mobile phones than PCs.
Projects
Our first project is a service for mobile application developers. More details will follow as we get further along in development.
